Future Projects in Need of Support

LifeSkills Camp

Future Farmers of Kenya

AMPATH would like to provide the opportunity for 100 youths to attend a three day overnight camp.

The camp would focus on developing lifeskills to enable the young participants to make good decisions towards daily challenges.

This will provide them time to:

  • live positively with friends and other people;
  • recognize and avoid risky situations and behavior;
  • make positive choices about his/her health;
  • make informed choices; and
  • make positive contributions to the wider community.

Camp registration fee per person: $35

The majority of Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) families live in rural Kenya and have access to land; however, because of lack of resources, the land often remains idle.

You can improve food security and boost economic status by donating to this program. With your donation, AMPATH will buy and distribute maize, vegetable seeds, and fertilizer plus provide a jembe (hand hoe) to needy families.

Price per acre: $65

The AMPATH OVC program is supported largely by private donations. If you are interested in supporting a program, please note that with your donation.
